About FactoryMile

FactoryMile is one person. I walk Yiwu, collect business cards from factories, verify what's behind the booth, and hand you the same email and WeChat the dropshipping middlemen are paying 2-3x to access.

Why I built this

I ran my first Shopify store in 2022. I lost most of the first year to Aliexpress shipping times and quote spreads I couldn't see through. The factory pages on Alibaba were a maze of trading companies pretending to be factories, Gold Suppliers paying for placement, and dead WhatsApp numbers.

So in May 2026 I flew to Yiwu and stayed two weeks. I walked Districts 1 through 5 of the International Trade City booth by booth. I asked “is this your factory or a middleman?” for every contact. I collected 3,000 business cards from the people who actually run the production lines.

What this isn't

It's not a marketplace. It's not a dropship platform. It's not a sourcing agent service. It's a list of factories and the playbook for emailing them. You do the rest.
